The food attracts visitors from far and wide; there is a superb gourmet restaurant ‘Miko’ with a large terrace; lighter meals are served in the ‘Cigar Bar’ whilst the ‘Country Kitchen’ serves alfresco dishes and picnics can be arranged within the estate. There are just 26 bedrooms, a lovely outdoor pool, a wellness centre and an equestrian centre. The centre of Franschhoek is approximately 20 minutes’ walk away.
