Short Break
Formerly the gentlemen's club of the Scottish Tea Planters, St. Andrews now combines old fashioned charm with modern service. Appropriately, the golf course is just at the end of the garden and can be seen from the lawn where afternoon tea is served. If the weather is chilly, a fire will be lit in the bar which feels more like a cosy drawing room. The billiards room is nearby with a table imported from Calcutta more than a hundred years ago. The bedrooms are all spacious; some have small balconies while others have mezzanines with an extra bed, ideal for families.
