The 2024/2025 season at La Scala, Milan has been announced! The celebrated temple of Italian opera is a Holy Grail for music-lovers and the new season is always highly-anticipated. Kirker returned to the Agenda Festival at the elegant Hurlingham Club for the second edition of this event in leafy south-west London, with Gyles Brandreth headlining a series of entertaining and illuminating guest talks.

The 2024 Kirker Spring Lecture took place on 14 May at the Royal Geographical Society, and we were delighted to be able to continue our long-running support for Venice in Peril with a wonderful talk from Dr Caroline Campbell.

We were pleased to hear that the City of Venice has now taken action to launch a new initiative which charges day trip visitors €5 per day when they enter the city.
