At the top of the Spanish Steps, Sir Rocco's latest Italian hotel will be one of the most sylish new openings in Rome for many years. With contemporary interiors inspired by the era of the Grand Tour, there will be 104 rooms and suites, designed by Olga Polizzi in collaboration with Italian designer Tommaso Ziffer.
Michelin-starred chef Fulvio Pierangelini has designed menus for the Lobby Bistro and an elegant main restaurant, whilst the rooftop bar is the perfect spot for an apertivo overlooking the Roman rooftops. Open from May 2019.

Villa Borghese: This elegant villa in the Borghese Gardens was founded by Cardinal Scipione and contains a wonderful collection of classical sculptures and Renaissance art. Highlights include works by Titian and Lotto as well as Canova’s sculpture of Pauline Bonaparte (closed Mondays).
Vatican Museum & Sistine Chapel: Although best known for Michelangelo’s work in the Sistine Chapel and the Raphael Rooms, there is much more of interest including the Etruscan Museum, the Tapestries Gallery and the Vatican’s own important art collection (closed Sundays).
