Located in a quiet street close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées, the hotel’s history dates back to the mid-19th century when the building was purchased by the French novelist, Honoré de Balzac. Today, its 58 rooms and suites are sumptuously decorated to create a classical yet contemporary feel. There is a lounge bar and the hotel is also home to the three-star Michelin restaurant, ‘Pierre Gagnaire’ – reservations essential (closed at weekends, August and Christmas).
