An excellent hotel located opposite the Opera House on the Rue de Paris, right in the heart of the old part of the city centre and about a 10 minute walk from the Eurostar rail station (Lille Europe). The Carlton is a beautiful 19th century building, fully modernised yet traditionally decorated throughout in the style of Louis XV. It has a wood panelled bar, and the 60 air-conditioned rooms all have marble bathrooms, minibar and 24-hour room service.
