A former residence of Cistercian Monks, Château de Gilly is located two minutes from Vougeot. It has preserved its authentic 14th and 16th century character, reflected in its moats, gardens and vaulted dining room.
The 48 rooms and suites in the château and its two outbuildings of the same era are elaborately decorated and have preserved the tradition and character of this historical building. Many overlook the gardens, outdoor tennis court and summer swimming pool. Guests are invited to enjoy a drink and a game of snooker in the hotel’s gracious drawing room with open inglenook fireplace.
