Car Ferry
Short Break
Located a short walk from the main square where the locals indulge their passion for boules, this historic residence forms part of the stone walls of the village and dates from the 13th century.
After a comprehensive restoration overseen by Swedish owner, Frida Ivarsson, the hotel reopened in 2012 and has already established a great reputation. Many of the 28 bedrooms have balconies or terraces overlooking the village and the coast below and are all beautifully decorated with eye-catching trompe-l’oeil paintings and antique furniture. The dining room has an intricate ceiling of 200 painted wooden panels that slides open to reveal the night sky. Although in the very heart of Haut-de-Gagnes, small cars can access the property and the excellent staff are on hand to assist with luggage and parking
