One of Spain's oldest luxury hotels, having welcomed guests since its inauguration in 189, this property reopens in early 2026 following a full restoration. Located above Puerto de la Cruz, surrounded by a lovely garden, the 199 rooms and suites (some with balconies) offer contemporary furnishings, with wonderful views of Teide or the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel has a very strong focus on cuisine, with three restaurants, 'Lava' which serves experimental haute cuisine reinterpreted by Michelin-starred chef Erlantz Gorostiza, and 'Amalur' and 'Oka', both under the construction of renowned Spanish chefs. There are expansive terraces with three pools and a very comprehensive spa. The hotel will also offer a complimentary shuttle into Puerto de la Cruz.
