The location of this famous hotel is excellent, mid-way between the regional capitals of Málaga (40 minutes’ drive) and Cádiz and sits in a prime position on Marbella’s exclusive ‘Golden Mile’ between Marbella and Puerto Banus. It is named after the Roman Bridge which still stands in the centre of the 11 acres of subtropical gardens and has been built to resemble a traditional Andalucian village. It offers guests a relaxed and informal atmosphere and great facilities, including water sports in season, a tennis club (eight clay courts and two hard courts), fitness centre, three outdoor swimming pools (the beach club pool is heated year-round) and a range of different restaurants all offering a high standard of Japanese, Arabic, Italian and Spanish cuisine. The 183 bedrooms are spread over a number of three-storey houses (no lifts) set amongst the gardens and offer plenty of space and privacy. The hotel is directly on the sandy beach and sunbeds, parasols and towels are provided free of charge. For golf lovers, there are plenty of courses nearby, many offering reduced green fees to hotel guests.
