Built in the 19th century, it was home to the Emile Zola in 1866 and is located next to the Luxembourg Gardens, and a stone’s throw from all that the artistic Left Bank has to offer. The Cartier Foundation was subsequently created in 1984 by Alain Dominique Perrin, and has since established itself as a key centre for contemporary art in Paris.
